    Miles Takes On...The Ringer.

Synopsis: Uncle Prowler pays a visit to Miles, and Miles goes up against The Ringer.

Yeah, ignore the cover with Miles and the new Scorpion because, that throw down doesn't happen in this issue. Regardless, the two, along with Prowler make an impact in this issue.

First let's talk about Miles and his Uncle. It's clear that Aaron wants to use his nephew as a tool to help with his heists. Meanwhile, Miles does not want any part of his Uncle's schemes, nor does he want to cause a problem with his family. This development is quite different than when Peter was Spider-Man (Because almost every single villain knew who he was). Because of Peter's actions as Spider-Man, Miles is slowly winning over the police...hopefully, even if he is taking down c-class villains.

And there's Scorpion. There's still not a lot information on him other than the fact that he is a threat. With the original Kingpin dead and Mysterio not around (yet), he would make a great replacement for someone to organize crime.

As much as it's great to see the new cast of characters, we can't forget about the original cast. Aunt May and Gwen Stacy are enjoying their new life in Paris, but when they get wind of Miles' activity as the new Spider-Man, it makes me wonder if they will take action.

Sara Pichelli returns to her rightful place as the artist, replacing Chris Samnee. There's something about her layouts that brings out these characters more even the less popular ones like the Ringer. Add the coloring by Justin Ponsor, and the book looks even more beautiful.

    Overall:

So what now? Trouble is brewing for Miles in different places. Is his run as Spider-Man up? I doubt it, but it should be fun to find out what happens in the next issue.
