Tyrande was born almost 14.000 years ago in the city of Suramar, growing up she was very close with two twin brothers, one of them were Malfurion Stormrage who would eventually become Tyrande's mate for life, the other was Illidan Stormrage who unknowingly to Tyrande had also developed feelings for her and was very jealous of his twin brothers relationship with her. When they eventually started reaching adulthood the trio would split up and walk separate paths for the time being in order to find their respective callings, Tyrande found hers in the Temple of Elune where she began training in order to become a priestess.
Today Tyrande can usually be found in the Night Elf capital Darnassus where she serves as High Priestess and leader of the Night Elf's or riding her trusted frostsaber named Ash'alah in defense of the woods and her people.
Tyrande was created by Blizzard Entertainment in 2002 and was featured in their popular RTS game Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos as a playable hero as well as the main character of the Night Elf part of the campaign mode.
Tyrande is very distrusting of outsiders and even among her own people she can sometimes come off as a bit stubborn, she rarely backs down when confronted with hostility and she is completely devoted to her goddess. However despite that she is very beloved by her people and cares for them deeply, she is a very protective friend and a truly compassionate soul at heart.
