In this self-contained issue, journalist Spider Jerusalem watches TV, alternating between (1.) violent reactions to what's considered entertainment in his City, and (2.) an apathetic state bordering on decomposition.
Spider decides to spend the whole day watching television, claiming it will help him better understand the residents of the City. After several hours of aimless channel surfing and buying products he sees in commercials, Spider discovers the wonder of call-in shows. However, when the chaos he is causing starts making the news, Spider is forced to realize the horrible truth: he has become television.
