Volume 7 this is an book well done. Aymar de Bois - Maury left for the Holy Land with his squire Olivier, the impetuous knight William English, the abrupt, rude, chauvinistic, but no less sympahique Dutchman Hendrik knight, and a handful of pilgrims. Much of the story takes place in Central Europe, and many surprises await our group. Fatigue and hunger are read on the faces and postures to the smallest stroke of a pen. A trip closer to reality. A test of suffering and pain told with skill by Hermann, despite the final plot is weak.
