An example of Paterson's unique style.
A Scottish artist who began working for Fleetway in 1973 and for D.C. Thomson in 1986. Perhaps he is most famous for the long running, Calamity James, strip which began in the Beano in 1986.

Paterson's artwork is very distinctive with his very busy backgrounds and the expressive and exaggerated features of his characters.
