Anybody else been waiting for Winnick to leave this book for what feels like forever? I sure have. Too bad none of these new writers know what they're doing except Yost. First problem: Terra and Beast Boy were NEVER in love. In comic book time, she was on the team for a month 3 or 4 years ago. Continuing the focus on a single character in each issue, Beast Boy gets his turn. Unlike the last issue where we have Starfire talking to a shrink. This issue has writer Pat MCcullam ignoring everything that had happened since the Judas Contract. It seems that he was so intent on having a "goofball" he forgot that people can be funny, and the humor can be organic. Coming from the relationship instead of a fixed caricature. This is too bad. Why Gar Logan is the Titans' Only Constant 0
I disagree with the previous reviews. I don't know how many issues of Titans McCallum wrote, but I get the impression it was maybe only this one? I thought he got Gar Logan exactly right. He clearly did his back reading on Logan and knew his NTT stuff backwards and forwards. The issue begins with Wally and Roy needling Gar about his old celebrity status and how that's been turned into a liability - Gar is all about image vs. reality.
