One of the very first comic books ever made Tip Top was put out by the United Features which owned the rights to a large number of newspaper comic strips.

The features of Tip Top came from there.

In the end publication would be given over to Dell Publication and as such would see the new characters of Charlie Brown & Snoopy in it's pages shortly after that strip started in news papers in 1951.

I would also for most of it's run feature Tarzan.
