So what does the DC: Rebirth have in store for Tim Drake?
Tim Drake
Character » Tim Drake appears in 3333 issues.
At the age of nine, Timothy Drake cleverly deduced the identities of Batman and Robin. Four years later, after the death of Jason Todd, Tim convinced Batman that he should be the new Robin. He would later become leader of Young Justice.
Why does the Rebirth mean for Tim?
He's back in his old costume, but it has the double RR's so I guess they are sticking to Red Robin. I don't mind the name, but it seems odd to stick with the name while keeping a costume very much inspired by the original Robin costume and not being all that red.
I don't know what Rebirth means. Tim was my favorite character but now I hate him because of Teen Titans #0. I would love to see his pre 52 history restored, but I'd settle for them scrapping the old continuity and just giving him something akin to it in spirit.
@batwatch: The only thing I liked about Tim's origin in New 52 (read secret origins #3 or #4) is that he deduces Batman's identity using real, rigorous detective work, not dumb luck (pre-52).
Other than that, his origin New52 is pure trash.
And I agree on the costume thing. Would be better to color swap the green for black, and show the costume that has green in flashbacks, to recount his time as Robin.

i like how he was running around basically "wanted" when he is clearly batman's previous partner. Doesn't that hold credibility? Wouldn't the police take that into consideration
@batwatch: So he going back to being Robin, but still going with the title Red Robin? I find that to be really super lame. But if he can hopefully be anything like Pre 52 Tim, then I'm game.
Nothing. I say that with a sad heart. That's my Robin. But he's still Red Robin. They took him off of the Titans. He's just one of the endless riders of Batman's coattails. Apparently Batwoman is second in command for Detective Comics. A team that has Clayface on it. He has Spoiler on the team which is the saving grace.
Cassie is also getting the big middle finger, despite being the first(also successful) Batgirl solo(no hate to Barbs, love Barbs, just a fact). Orphan.
So yea Jason/Tim/Cassie are the bastardized of the Bat-Family on purpose(Dam's very smart push proved if they want it to be successful they know exactly how).
They are saying they are bringing back all the pre flashpoint story, so if tim drake is included in this, it should have very heavy implications for him. Would mean his parents are not his parents for starters.
Hopefully after this is resolved, and resolved in this way, hell have his own solo run to deal with this.
I got sick with the New 52 in 2012 and haven't read much of anything since then. I hear a couple of you saying Tim and other characters histories will be restored? Is this correct? I know Titans have been given some history back, but is everybody getting pre-Flashpoint? This would thrill me.
