Should Tim Drake be called RedWing now since he's "grown-up" from being robin and Grayson considers him an equal now and hes called Nightwing so why not call Robin RedWing

No, Red Robin is perfectly fine.

i wanted Tim to get better name like: Nightwish, nightfall, darkwing...something along those lines. He is one of the darkest and more calculated member of the bat family but hes name sound pretty childish IMO

I'm fine with Tim's name being Red Robin, I just can't stand his new costume.

Every time I read his title I always get a craving for cheeseburgers though. Then again if his name was changed to Redwing I would just feel like playing hockey

I would agree that Tim isn't really that dark, I would actually argue that Batman isn't that dark half the time as much as he is constantly tragic. I would argue that Tim is one of the more serous, brooding, and at times pessimistic characters from the bat family and that I think that's why people think he's "dark". As for the name Red Robin I don't think it really suits him. Fodigg does a good job of covering some of the problems with the name in his blog

He needs a new name and while it doesn't have to be dark name like nightwish or darkwing or anything like that it should suit him more than simply being a more edgy version of Robin (especially since Damians more edgy than he is) if he has to have a color in his name I would suggest grey since I feel like the character sees things in shades of grey and not black and white and if he has to have a bird in his name I don't know what it should be but almost anything other than Robin would work.

@BlackArmor: agreed.i would like for Tim to get a cool name that stands on it`s own. like Dick got. nothing with colors and stuff. i can`t say i like any superhero name that has a color in it`s name. hopefully DC will find a decent name and start an ongoing with Tim pretty soon

after reading The court of the owls arc in Batman i was thinking that the name Talon would have been a great fit for Tim Drake. Owlman or even Nightowl would also be great names for Tim . RR seems like a shallow name and a superhero with a name like that can`t get much atention and hype created around him.

I actually like the name 'Redwing' way more than 'Red Robin'.

i geuss people may get mixed up between dick and tim because of similar names

but robin and red robin are still too similar

I've moved to the point where I want him to take a scaled down version of the Insider suit and call himself the Insider

There is already a character called Red Wing in a different comic outside of DC. Probably not a big deal, but it would be a distraction. Red Robin makes everyone think of hamburgers. It just doesn't work.

The gray ideas are good, and I loved the suggestion of Tim taking up the mantle of the Gray Ghost. That would certainly give him a a more unique persona in the bat-family. If they keep making him making him look like the Falcon from Marvel, they could call him the White Falcon, LOL!
