    The Epic Sci-fantasy adventure series created by Jean Van Hamme and Grzegorz Rosinski, originally serialized on the page of Tintin magazine and later reprinted by Le Lombard in hard cover edition.

    Critically acclaimed and recognized as one of the most famous french comic in history, the Saga of the Aegirsson family boldly combines several themes and legends, ranging from Norse mythology and Atlantean fantasy to science fiction, and such genres as dark drama, horror and alternate history.

    After issue #29 and a nearly-30 years long run, Van Hamme was succeded as writer first by Yves Sente (#30-34) and later by Xavier Dorison (#35-36) and Yann (#37-ongoing).

    Following the events of the last story arc written by Van Hamme and with the start of Sente's Run the series spawned various spin-off titles, collectiveley knowns as Le Monde De Thorgal (aka. The World of Thorgal) that expanded the story focusing of various characters and relative backstories, currently:
