    Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.

    These scans are from Thor v2 #84, and#85 in which Thor ends Ragnarok. These scans show how Thor surpasses Odin and power and became Rune King Thor.

    The left one is Rune powered Thor, the one on the right is King Thor.  
     
    The one on the left, also could technically be considered Rune powered King Thor or Rune King Thor, since Odin wasn't around, and so Thor was still considered King, but he was only at Rune powered levels, for a few issues, where as he was the King, for like 30 plus issues.

    He was described as being all knowing, but he wasn't omnipotent.  Many characters have been described as omnipotent in comics, but few actually are besides the One Above All.  Odin has been called omnipotent many times, but clearly he isn't.  In fact, Rune King Thor has been described as being more powerful than even Odin, and Odin has been shown to be able to destroy entire GALAXIES.   Odin has also done things like create new stars, beat Thanos and the Silver Surfer at once, take out the Silver Surfer with one shot, and was also able to bring the Hulk back to life (and then when the Hulk didn't show Odin enough gratitude, he teleported him across the universe with a gesture).   So compared to a character like the Hulk, he is omnipotent, but compared to someone like Galactus, he's not.

    not sure if you have read the thor:disassembled series, but if not you definitely should, especially if you are a thor fan. it is my absolute favorite story arc period. he has an epic fight with loki and fenris at the same time, without his hammer. and then later beta ray bill shows up in true epic fashion. definitely try to read it if you havent already, an absolute classic in my opinion:)

    i want to read it! i have heard really great things about it, i am a huge thor fan its just i never read that series! :( whenever i typed in rune king thor on google, i found out his feats and what comic he appeared in but i couldnt find what he actually looked like! those two pics kept coming up! but thank you for the suggestion, il deffinently look into trying to find a copy of thor disassembled! thanks!

    i know the trade paperback has been out for awhile, but i went to pick my comics up today and my guy told me marvel had just re-shipped them, $14.99. not sure how big your comic shop is, but mine is pretty small and he still had gotten a shipment of 4, so you may be able to check with your local supplier and see if he got any in.
