The new What if? episode on Disney Plus focused on Thor. The premise was what if Odin returned Loki to Laufy instead of raising him as his own.

Thor grew up without a counter balance and sort of became a party frat boy who travels from planet to planet with an army of alien partiers with him. Skrulls, Grandmaster, Nebula, Drax, Howard the Duck and many other background characters.

Some of these parties did not go well on other worlds. Thor waits until Odin goes into the Odin sleep and Frigga goes to visit her sisters before heading to Earth. Mostly because Heimdall does not look there much.

On Earth, the events of the Thor movie sort of happen until Thor arrives and then the party starts gradually spreading through the planet. Nick Fury is taken out by a Korg heading to use a fountain like a pool. Hill takes over and calls Captain Marvel. She shows up and fights Thor. They are pretty even but Thor is able to best her. Hill dresses her down for supposed to be dumb powerful and CM says she needs an isolated place to cut loose. The fight is stopped by Frigga (Jane told her) and the rest of the episode is Thor and friends trying to clean up Earth before mom comes back.

I very much enjoyed the episode. It was fairly light hearted in the end. Thor has alot of strength feats in it and during their initial fight is pretty even with Captain Marvel.

I think the episode with Dr. Strange was better but this was probably my second favorite. It also seemed like the voice actors were not phoning it in. Hemsworth, Hiddleston, Portman and Dennings in particular were clearly having a good time.
