Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
He does look very badass indeed, but I'm not sure if it's the costume . I think it's the lightning/electricity constantly around him and the blue eyes which make him look so powerful, it's awesome artwork. I do like the helmet, though.
I like how he looks in the GoT book. I like how he's constantly sleeveless, in his JMS armor, or somewhere in between in each book he's in while still maintaining a few set pieces of consistants through his outfit. Shows that what he wears is less a costume and more like everyday clothing, which makes sense for a warrior god.
My only problem with this costume is the half-sleeve section near his shoulders. I do like the lightning aura and the glowing eyes. The helmet is designed amazingly and it looks fantastic. I also liked how Thor was written in this issue as well. However, I am equally satisfied with Aaron's and Ribic's work of God of Thunder. The art and writing is amazing.
