    Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.

    Do you think in Avengers 4 THOR will see himself as some type of curse?

    Here me out. The only time there has been key important deaths (fake deaths, presumed deaths, major deaths) is when THOR is around.

    THOR 1 if THOR had not gone to Joutenhiem his family would still be peaceful. Thus avoiding the New York devastation.

    Avengers 1 Coulson "dies" in front of him

    THOR 2 he loses his mother and loki (presumably) dies in front of him

    Avengers 2 Quicksilver dies

    THOR Ragnarok THOR loses his home, father

    Avenger 3 he loses his people, friends and fellow Avengers all basically in front of his eyes.

    Anywhere THOR goes major deaths seems to follow THOR

    No other hero in the mcu has been through what THOR has gone through.
