Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
Hmm im not sure if he will. I would like to see something that puts him back up there with immortal hulk. It would be nice since they have boosted several characters.
Thor needs to get a major power boost. He needs to not only fully regain his God of Thunder powers. But I want him to fully tap into his Elder God blood which has been utterly ignored by everyone who writes for him.
Have him seek out his birth mother Gaea, and through a great trial unlock his full potential as The Elder God of Storms or something. Hell have the Mother of Storms that was trapped within Mjolnir be a part of Thor, the storm being an aspect of him that has existed before Thor as he is. The power fusing back with Thor and while he wields Mjolnir as a channeling device the power is all his own.
He needs to stop being punked out by the writers. He is not a genius but he is not a moron, he is not a speedster but he is not slow either.
I swear, message me Marvel I will co-write this stuff if I have too.
Probably will get stronger but I wouldn't count on it. Aaron has a thing for tearing down Thor to make others look good (other than Old King Thor). Would not be surprised in the slightest to see Thor lose to street-levelers or those dark-elf assassins that stupidly were able to kill Odin.
Honestly I don't think Aaron has any idea how to handle this multiple hammers Thor (not that he ever really did barring God-Butcher). His power level is all over the place, and like most of Aaron's writing there are contradictions everywhere. Who knows though, maybe after Aaron leaves we'll get lucky and it'll be retconned.
@trickofeye: It's a case of using a character itself as a plot-device for a writer's own narrative. Editorial discipline also died a long time ago so no one really cares about power-levels or feats or some sort of loose general criteria for an in-universe hierarchy.
