Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
During the beginning stages of Thor reign on Asgard, earth, in fear dispatched a nuclear missile upon the city. Thor leaps into action and disposes of the weapon:
Thor v2 #58
During Thor reign, a Alien being came to earth and destroyed the moon. Thor using the Odin force remakes it:
Marvel has two strength scales. They both suck eggs. Sheesh. I've heard some people say Thor can only lift about a 100 tons, or a little over. Way, way, way off. For visual reference, a fully loaded, standard, tractor trailer (trailer only) weighs 25 tons. 100 tons is four of those stacked on top of each other. Not a whole lot. Marvel, if you're listening, please revise your strength scale.
For a visual reference of classic Thor's strength level, check out the scans on the "Respect Thor" thread. And Thor's speed is around "bullet speed" if he is on foot. Only with Mjolnir can he travel at multiple speeds of light and that is in flight only.

Those listed as capable of lifting 100 tons doesn't mean they can't lift more, characters listed as 100 tonners can lift 100 or more tons meaning that they can lift 100 - 1000000000000 tons

Right. Which is the point I was making. Marvel needs to revise their strength scale for ones who don't understand that the "class 100" level of strength means "at or around 100 tons". Colossus lifts almost exactly 100 tons and he is in the class 100 group. Thor, Hulk and Gladiator are in the class 100 group too. But they are well beyond the 100 ton mark (feats of each of these characters places in the "billion ton" category).
For people who are unfamiliar with Thor, when they see "class 100" category, some assume he is at or just above 100 tons. We know that to NOT be true.
In fact I think the resurrection was due in part of the actions of RKT and him still having the Odin Force as a result
He resurrected because Donald Blake has brought back to the existence, and because after the Ragnarok, Mjolnir fell down from the sky, Donald Blake lifted the Hammer after the events of the Civil War and summoned Thor from the void, Don Blake told him that he was needed, to ressurect he fought a legion of Demons that "didn't want him back" and touched Mjolnir saying: "I am Thor, Son of Odin, God of thunder, Who commands the lighting and storm!" "I am Thor! and I-- wish-- to live--to live...and breathe... and fight again."
The explanation of those events were also in Thor #1 Vol 3, Donald Blake said that he exists becasue the Ragnarok, because the Odin Spell was broken, because Odin and his power are dead, and Don Blake was able to brought Thor back, because "It is not in Gods to decide whether or not Man exist-- it is for Man to decide whether or not the Gods exist." "And becasue you are important-- becasue you are needed-- your time is not yet over", also Thor wanted to stay in the void, so, neither Thor or the Odin Force were involved, Thor fought to bring himself back with the help of Don Blake, but at the end was his will and love for the humanity the things that brought him back.

Read the issue, were great.
I read the issue I have the first volume but one thing I dont understand is when Blake just appeared out of no where? What ever the point was that those feats where Odin Forced

Well that was also explained in the first issue, I can quote the whole thing, but I have no time right now, but Don Blake came back because Odin and all the Gods dissapeared, and as I said before "It is not in Gods to decide whether or not Man exist-- it is for Man to decide whether or not the Gods exist."
What ever the point was that those feats where Odin Forced
Well, JMS's Thor was one of the most influential things that I read back then, and classic Thor did similar feats without the Odin Force, so, in my opinion, Thor is able to do some of them even without the Odin Force, even controling the earth, Thor said that he was able to control the Earth because his mother Gaea.
Cool thread, but I still think until he gets the Odin-power back, current Thor is the same as classic Thor.
I disagree. I think Modern Thor isn't as powerful as Classic Thor.

Thor is the only one to have seem to hurt Michael Korvac
This is rubbish, several people hurt Korvac in that fight, not just Thor. Even the future Finesse was nerve-striking him. And Korvac casually one-shotted Thor in that same fight.

@BringnIt: His wife said that, but she was not around when Korvac fought Thor. She was transforming the AA kids into their future selves at the time. Korvac for his part attributed the weakening to Speedball's attack, not Thor's.
I noticed this thread is a little bit disorganized, so I'll try to clean it up a bit.
I'll organize it into the following sections:
1. Strength
2. Speed
3. Durability
4. Other innate abilities
5. Mjolnir
6. Intellect
7. Combat Experience
8. Restraint
9. Thor's Fights
1. Strength
Physically harming Galactus:
Lifting Asgard with the help of Beta Ray Bill:
Denting Silver Surfer's head:
Tears through Thing in fear itself:
Sends Hulk(fear itself) into space:
King Thor without the Odin Force killing Hulk and Thing:
Thor hurting Michael Korvac:
Thor lifting a plane:
2. Speed
Blitzes Quicksilver:
Travels from Earth to the Sun in a matter of moments:
Escapes from a black hole with Rulk(FTL travel feat):
Catches up to Ego after being one shot by Stranger:
Shows that Thor is capable of flying at hyperspace beyond Ego's speed and hyperspace which is 5000x+ FTL. Not to mention how far Ego is from Thor the second time around and Thor was going 2-4 times faster meaning Thor was at least going 10,000+ times FTL.
Thor hurls Mjolnir with such speed and force, that Spidey enters space ... before even his reflexes and senses can react, to release the Hammer:
Mjolnir outracing Silver Surfer:
Note: Because mjolnir can travel this fast, Thor can as well due to the fact that Thor flies at FTL speeds due to Mjolnir.
3. Durability
Thor's skin is bulletproof:
Wolverine's claws only scratch Thor's face:
Thor survives an explosion caused by four Mjolnir weapons which levels an entire mountain range, fromThor vol. 2 #80:
And while empowered, Odinforce Thor has resisted the Destroyer's beam of total disintegration inThor vol. 3 #5:
