How impressive was Fenrir to you?

A giant wolf strong and resilient enough to fight hulk.

Durable enough to tank machine gunfire from alien ships and take hits from hulk.

His teeth were sharp enough to Pierce and cut hulk, Hulk piercing durability is taking bullets from Quinjets and Fighter jets. Takes a lot of jaw strength to Pierce skin like that.

His foot steps were cracking the Bifrost. The Bifrost has tanked planes/ships crashing on it without damage, and in Thor 1,it took close to 12 hits from Mjolnir to crack amd shatter it. A single footstep from this wolf was matching multiple hits from Thor.

He was powerful for sure, he probably would've won if Hulk didn't push him into space. But I was disappointed, I thought the fight would be epic but it was boring, honestly I thought the fight scenes were the only weak points in a pretty much perfect movie.

I loved him, I think the piercing thing was to do with magic though.

    Eh, not too much, tbh

There were so many great larger-than-life characters in this movie, a giant wolf was just "oh, okay." Not much memorable stuff happened with him.

What we got from him was good but he was kinda pointless in the movie, what we saw of him in the trailers fighting Hulk is the extent of his role in the movie essentially.

To honest, I wished it looked slightly different than a normal. It just looked and acted like a normal wolf that was scaled up to a larger size.

it just looked like plain giant wolf. kinda out of place to me imo. while watching the movie, I even thought : "what's this wolf doing here?... oh I remember! norse myth supposedly have god-killing-wolf! this must be that wolf!" then I praised myself for being able to connect the dots

So it had a name. I was impressed that its bite was strong enough to injure the Hulk, but not much aside from that. Although if Hella rode it into battle, it had to be a hella fierce wolf.

He was just a plot device. But then again it's just a wolf, so....

I preferred the Fenris-like thing the frost Giants had.

Good CGI. Boring and unimaginative Fight Sequence. Nice strength and durability for a giant Dog.

Fenrir is just another name for fenris wolf, Hróðvitnir, Vánagandr or Fenrisúlfr lol.

    And I am not joking.

It's a distraction to cover up Hulk's pointless existence in the movie.

He was fine but I was expecting much more from his fight with Hulk, we barely saw them fighting, they should have had a prolonged brawl, it would have been epic.

Seemed to be evenly matched with the Hulk, he was even gaining the upper-hand until he fell off Asgard, Lol.

When I saw him in the trailer I was like "Yes! They're going full mythos!" But nope. No World Serpent, no Wolf-Eating-Thor, and not even any real threat. Surtur was such a lame cop-out and although Cate Blanchett was fantastic she was yet another in a long line of Marvel villains with no real heart to them. I was hoping she'd stick around for Infinity War, maybe take the role of Death.

@njchrispatrick: They already had Surtur no need for the serpent. Hela beat Thor and Loki repeatedly how was she not a threat ? Also who said she was dead ? We never watched her die and if you want there's an extremely large chance she's in infinity war

@kgb725 But Surtur was so unnecessary. They introduced him SOLELY to eat Asgard. They could've done that with Jormungandr and it would've tied in a little better. I'm not saying it didn't work, it just wasn't particularly smooth.

She wasn't a threat in the same way MCU villains are rarely real threats. They always die at the end and the status quo only shifts slightly. Asgard's destruction was an unexpected joy but it didn't negate her weakness. Using the Goddess of Death generally means a terrifying, world-consuming character. All she did was conjure swords and brag. Besides, beating Thor and Loki isn't that impressive considering that only Thor has any real powers. Even her bringing back some dead guys wasn't really her, it was the Eternal Flame. Now that Strange has introduced magic I was hoping we'd see some REAL magic. But Loki, the supposed God of Magic, getting stuck by a simple portal? Seriously?

I'm pretty sure we saw her die when a giant sword slammed down on her. Sure, she could've lived. It would be cool. But I wouldn't bet on it, especially since she was the goddess of Death in name only.

@njchrispatrick: Hela isn't a world consuming character in the comics either not sure what you expected.

There's no proof it killed her. Especially when Odin said " Asgard is where it's people are "

@kgb725 Not World-consuming, no, but someone powerful. MCU Hela didn't really have any significant power. Nothing that we haven't seen before anyway.

I mean that wasn't what he meant but I suppose. Of course by that logic Red Skull, Malekith, and some of the others could be alive too.
