    Stan Lee and Jack Kirby liked to give standard thugs super powers during the 1960s. In a lot of ways, The Wrecker is just a twist on the Absorbing Man, a low life criminal, armed with an imposing looking weapon (this time a crowbar) who is given some sort of hazily defined superpowers that include super strength among others. Rather than creatively use their energy powers though, they inevitably duke it out in hand-to-hand combat with Thor. Which gives Kirby a chance to shine for at least a page...
