    Maybe it's because their full attention rotated back onto this comic (away from all the others they were doing at the time), maybe it was just the creative spark hit, maybe it was because this was the 150th issue - whatever the case, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby turn in one of the most exciting issues of Thor in quite some time.Thor lies at death's door.
