    West tied to a ladder in front of a map of the Mississippi River 'The Night of a Thousand Eyes' is a pretty standard episode of The Wild Wild West, although it may be worth checking out by non-fans for Captain Ansel Coffin (Jeff Corey), one of the series more memorable villains. Coffin is a blind former riverboat captain who plans to dominate all cargo trade on the Mississippi through a protection racket.Overall, the episode has a lot of flaws, as if too many writers were working on it.
