The premier of the AMC " The Walking Dead" television series is an event that has been a long time coming. With the premier date practically around the corner, AMC has decided to release the official trailer for the show! Based on Robert Kirkman's highly successful graphic novel, "The Walking Dead" will premier with a 90-minute long episode on Halloween night, Sunday, October 31st at 10 PM ET and 9PM C on AMC. Will you be catching this new series this fall?

Well , I think the show looks great I just hope that it stays true to Robert Kirkman's books , but other than that I just can't wait for this October.

The beginning reminded me of 28 Days Later (waking up to a apocalyptic world, zombie-esque creatures, etc) but other then that it looks pretty good :) Looking forward to it!

Robert Kirkmans has been working with the series and says the series is best they could do to keep to the books. They added scenes though to make it longer. Like the black guy shooting the sniper rifle (Dammit why did I forget his name), that never happened. I'm worried about Carl. I hope that kid got the skill to make it work.

I started reading this series in trade paperback only about 3 weeks ago and am loving it. Knowing that in a couple of months there's going to be a television series based on it makes me just want to read faster :)
