Koz's Comic Flashback: The Journey to Atlanta!!

Well here is the offical start to my first of many reviews of the the Walikng Dead. I plan on reviewing all 77 issues. I am starting with issue #2 because I already did a review for issue #1 about a month ago. So here we go.

    PLOT:
Issue #2 Starts off with Rick Driving his Police car into Georgia. His goal, is to find his wife and son in Atlanta. One of the things that Rick notices is not only that he can not get gas at any gas station but seems to notice that the Zombies are everywhere and not just the town he was living in. Once Ricks car runs out of gas he finds a horse in a farm close to where his car broke down.  While Rick makes his way into Atlanta, he finds out that the Zombies have taken over the entire city and go after him and his horse. Thanks to a young man named Glenn, Rick makes it out alive, but for his horse, not so much. For the first time in the series you witness what the zombies can do when you become a victom. After escaping with Glenn the two of them have a talk about what has happened in the city, and theres a  good chance that his family did not make it. Glenn however tells Rick about a camp with other survivors and ask him to join. Once Rick gets to camp he finds out a very big surprise.

    OUTCOME:
For me this story was very well written and you start to get a feel of that character development that makes this Volume so great.
    The End of Atlanta
    The End of Atlanta
In the beginning of this series the art was different but very well detailed. I really like
how the flies fly around the zombies And there facial expressions. Overall I gave this book a
4 out of 5. Only because the story just flew by in the beginning, and if you were reading it for the first time you will like it but not enough story for the issue and it will be leaving you wanting more.

The tragedy really hits home for policeman Rick Grimes in this second installment of Image`s excellent The Walking Dead. Rick arrives in Atlanta, searching for his wife and son, to find zombies have overrun the city... Moore`s art has gotten better for this issue, I think. He really catches the emotions Rick is going through - check out the scenes where he talks to the horse. The writing and dialogue is such we can feel his despair as the plight of Atlanta is explained to Rick by the young m...
