This issue really blowed up my mind, seriously. First I thought there was a sequel mistake, since issue # 482 ended one way and this issue started completely different, but as I kept reading all the pieces of the puzzle were set in place: Brubaker did a marvelous job in this arc story, it´s simply amazing and truly uncanny (this technique of spliting the story and telling it backwards was very eficient for this plot).
