    Sparkeaters are real!!

Sparkeaters were harmed in the making of this issue...if there was any question.

What we can love about it:

It must be the job but these characters just don't seemed frazzled by any of whats going on around them. That or having nerves of steel is a real benefit in the "work place". We have this big problem for our stranded bots...A Sparkeater who was left on a ship locked up by the NAILS who had it beforehand. Ore is dead and so his is Duobot.

The things we learn about the folklore of cybertron is kinda neat. The title page has a little rhyme that relates to the sparkeaters. That was super cool. The general feel of the book hasn't changed the fact that their are friends, enemies and ex enemies is still very real. Tailgate has noticed on bot that he recognizes and that he sways him to his side and later he asks to be branded as a member of that allegiance.

The art is great and the flashback stuff is different from the curret period art so that makes it very helpful to me. This is issue 3 so its not like we can say that this is the best thing ever but its looking to be that way in my opinion. The story progresses!

What we can hate about it:

What Rodmus does to Rung is a bit harsh. Using one of your few bots as bait for some creastue who as already killed two other bots isnt a very good way to show leadership. I like Rodmus but I feel that maybe the books writers are going to do some stuff to change whos in charge. I cant say I didnt see it coming but maybe its to obvious?

I was only really disapointed that there were many large pannels with not much said. So the story was a quick read. I was bummed.

    With their powers combined:

Transformers: More than meets the eye continues to be an intersting and impressive book. It has given me another kick to push myself to read of the transforemrs history because while its a good book to start with it does bring up old battels and wars and many questions of "whats this guys story?" It well deserves my score of 4.5 stars.

Side note: WHY TAILGATE....WHY??? (You'll get that if you read the issue.)
