Part 1 of 2 last edited by mshirley27 on 10/12/20 07:04AM View full history

The biggest event in IDW Publishing's history infects the TRANSFORMERS universe with this two-part, bi-weekly series written by Infestation architects Abnett and Lanning!

BOOM! BAM! SMASH! Buildings are falling, and the dead are rising! When Big-Bad GALVATRON crash lands on Earth, something ain't right. It's up to our 'Bots-in-blue to run to the rescue or... well... EVERYONE to fight off not just Galvatron, but the zombie horde spreading through Las Vegas!

Galvatron, while fighting on a ship infested with a techno-zombie plague, accidentally brings it to Earth, crashing in Las Vegas. He tries to work with Prime to annihilate the threat, but Prime won't have it. After the dust settles from the battle, Prime starts to deal with the outbreak and starts to get a glimpse how serious the situation is. Things don't end well for him, when the villain appears and one of his own is claimed by the virus.

And so the zombie infestation hits the Transformers universe and most of the time is spent with Decepticons and Autobats fighting it out, despite some demands of teamwork. Galvatron wanted the autobots to work under him, granted he wasn't very nice about it, Prime was too stubborn to see the big picture and find some way to work together. It didn't settle well with me. I feel time was wasted on that fight and because of that, it felt the zombies were sidelining. After all that fighting, they get...
