Scourge of the Schizoid Man! last edited by Somedude36 on 10/09/21 08:53PM View full history

Chip Martin isn't leaving the ESU campus without a fight!

Spider-Man arrives at Doctor Connor's office as the good doctor wants make sure Spider-Man wasn't affected by the enervator's ray. Spidey refuses to allow that though so Doctor Connors secretly uses a special camera to record his bloodstream.

Meanwhile, Electro is admitted into the Frightful Four.

At ESU, Peter snaps at his classmates when suddenly, Chip Martin reappears and starts attacking his father. Peter slips away to become Spider-Man and fights Chip.

At Doctor Connor's lab, he discovers that Spider-Man's blood has started changing for the worst.

Back at ESU, Chip's father tells Peter's classmates that Chip's powers were caused by drugs used to help Chip's wife give birth that had entered Chip's bloodstream. Through a use of therapy and special drugs, Chip was able to control his emotional states, until now.

Spider-Man defeats Chip and starts beating him to a pulp until he is stopped by Doctor Connors. Spidey slips away as Connors realises that Spider-Man is about to change at any minute.

On a rooftop, Spider-Man bemoans on how the public treats him as him. Soon his costume and mask is ripped into shreds as he turns into a lizard like being. Once the transformation is complete he decides to use his powers to destroy the humans and names himself the Spider-Lizard.
