A young man steals, for he and his father are poor.

A fight between punks and a roughity ruff police officer is about to start up, because the officer starts it. Spidey in his black costume gets to the scene of events, just in time to save the officer. Who is ungrateful ("I don`t need your help webhead!"). Spider-male leaves, pissed off.

Youngling picks the lock of Peter Parkers empty apartment. Takes a box as loot. Returns home.

Peter returns home as well. Notices theft. Freaks out, because...

Young man is at home, notices the interesting stuff inside the box. Spider-mans red-blue suit, webslingers and belt...

He starts to rob peoples homes as a pseudo-Spidey (not with violence). It has its ups and downs, and is soon caught by the police, who, of course, think he`s the real deal...

Peter finds a solution for his problem, and starts to execute it.

Young man is forced to work with a cop (the rowdy one seen earlier), and since he can`t prove he`s not a superhero with radioactive blood, he has little choice. They get to a warehouse/headquarters of a gang of thugs (ones seen earlier), who the youngling is meant to beat up and capture. Opposite happens, and the cop is tied up as well. He`s threatened.

In the next room, the young man notices a radio. And a spider tracer (Who he figures, is some kind of a tracer. Spider shaped, apparently.). Now, the boy is handy, when it comes to electronics, so he`s able to mash the two items together, and make the tracer more potent.

Soon enough, Spider of the men starts to hear voices in his head, and figures that something`s happening in the direction of the sounds. Heads there, pummels the crooks (who flee), frees officer, finds boy, and is about to give him a roughing-up...but then he tells Spidey his story. Our superpowered vigilante symphatizes, and has a conversation that changes the kiddos life (also points out that Peter is Spidermans friend, isntead of being him). Maybe he could start an electronics biz.

The cop is a changed man too.

The young man and cop meet months later, accidentally, and have a pleasant talk about how their lifes have been lately.
