frijolie's The Sixth Gun #2 review

    Another great issue!

    Synopsis

Now that General Hume has risen from his coffin, he is in full-force search mode for his "lost gun". He gathers his henchmen and zombies to make his first attack on Drake Sinclair, Billjohn O'Henry, and Becky unsuccessfully.

    The Good

The artwork is nothing to be afraid of and shouldn't be taken lightly. Brian Hurtt knocks this one out of the park and deserves a medal or something for this series. Great job illustrating this series so far and now I don't want this to end. Another great book from Oni Press, are they starting a trend here?

    The Bad

I'm starting to see striking resemblances to other famous characters. Bloodthirsty Bill (the guy on the cover holding the coffin) looks a lot like Jonah Hex, Will Arcene (the balding guy who's showing off his ribs) looks a lot like "Filtch" on Harry Potter. This is the only thing I can think to complain about.

    Verdict (4.5/5)

Given the few shortcomings up above I'll scratch a half point from the perfect score, which earns this book a 4.5/5.
