What Doesn't Kill You.
The Shadow Watchers comic is a blend of Pulp Horror and Science Fiction. The main characters, who are more Pulp Heroes than "Super", are thrown together to fight an ancient evil. The 1st issue begins in the year 1952. This time period creates powerful conflicts and great adversity for our heroes just by virtue of their gender and ethnicity in a far more repressive era than today.
With the 2nd issue we have an awakening for the cast of our story. The plot thickens, more villainy is revealed and we start to get a sense of where the story is going.
