The Good: Philip Tan's artwork is just so awesome. I've not usually been a fan of his new style, but it's done so well in this issue, the watercolor-ish colors actually enhancing the badass penciling. And the action is at the best yet for this series. Once again, the fighting is very savage without being needlessly gory or grotesque, just brutal. It flows a lot better than it did in previous issue, and it's more close and personal. There are a lot of intriguing plot hooks brought up in this issu...

If we are to have any chance 0
From a series which started off on such a directionless path, it has finally gotten to an entertaining place. It doesn't happen all at once and the route taken to get to this point was a little arduous, but about halfway through the action sequence in this issue it all started to come together for me. Granted an action sequence is primarily what this issue is as Hawkman and new (and presumably temporary) ally Askana team up to battle Morphicus. Some things work here and some things don't. In...
