He is mostly known for his work at DC/Vertigo, including his critically acclaimed lettering on Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. Her maiden name was Shelly Roeberg but upon marrying Philip Bond (comic artist) her name has changed to Shelly Bond. She has been an editor for DC Comics imprint Vertigo since the beginning (second month of its existence to be perfectly accurate) and still is today. Prior to this, she edited at Comico. In 2012 she was made Executive Editor of Vertigo.
