Season of Mists: Chapter 2 last edited by ltjfleetwood41 on 09/14/18 12:37PM View full history

The last thing Morpheus expects upon his return to Hell is an open gate and a vacant kingdom. And yet, that’s exactly what he finds as Lucifer explains he’s decided to give up the kingdom of the damned and hands over the keys to the Dream King. But is this a gift—or a curse?

Lord Morpheus, dreading his impending confrontation with Lord Lucifer, travels to Hell to free his former lover, Queen Nada. When he gets to Hell, though, he finds the gates wide open, and the realm vacant. Morpheus calls out to Lucifer, who appears to him and promises to do him no harm within the bounds of Hell. Lucifer, it seems has decided to abandon Hell after 10 billion years and he asks Morpheus to accompany him as he makes final preparations for his departure. But what is Lucifer really up to?
