Born in Germany, her given name was "Tatjana Weintraub", which was changed when she married Wally Wood. Tatjana attended the Traphagen School of Fashion in New York in 1947. In the 1950's she began work with EC on "Two Fisted Tales". In the 1970s, she worked on DC's "Animal Man". In 1971 and 1974 she won the Shazam Award for best colorist.
