    The Swamp Thing is still lying in the green, exploring it, trying to figure out who really is, or what really is. Abby Holland is feeling alone and goes back to where he is; she finds a horrible scene of people killed by the Floronic Man, she is being attacked by the plants and can't make Alec to wake up and help her.

    Meanwhile, The Floronic Man has gain the power to control all of the world's vegetation after connecting himself with The Swamp Thing and has convinced them to work with him on a plan to destroy humanity and make a new Green World. First The Floronic Man reaches the nearest town, Lacroix, and begins with his plan destroying part of the city and making all the plants to accelerate their photosynthetic processes, resulting in dangerous rates of oxygen in the air, causing fires when the slightest flame reaches it!

    The Swamp Thing gets over all the things that has find out about his origins and all that he's been through, he awakes to save Abby and the world.
