A wise leading a resistence to colonization in India sees that his position will be passed to another. In London, on June of 1858, a group of four people, including James Jensen, made an important discovery. They opened a box to find a gold Indian statue. James realizes that even if he doesn't know India, he feels a connection to it. Afterwards, James takes work in the Indian colony and discovers that his wife Tess is pregnant. In India, Jensen finds a temple where a hermit introduces him to Kali.
