Maya's spell kasting has saved the Konstino. The Taktarov is immobile and defenseless. While the ship recovers, Kyuzo goes into the depths of the skyfurnace to kill the Zero, and Maya realizes that by being willing to give her life to save them all, she can now see the spirits as her husband does.
