"Golden Buddha." Punisher heads to Chinatown to take on the Chinese Savage Tigers gang. The owner of a Chinatown restaurant enlists Punisher's help in securing the release of his kidnapped cook and stopping the Savage Tigers' extortion ring. Punisher secures help from a rival gang to put an end to the fear and violence. But all is not as it seems. Punisher must find out if his allies really are who they claim to be. Sorting fact from fiction can be tough when fighting a gang war.

This issue features two pin-ups. The first (Punisher War Journal 1/11/91) is by Jose Massaroli featuring Frank in a covered in snow Central Park standing by some guys he shot. The second pin-up (Punisher War Journal 3/28/91) is by Scott Williams and it features Captain America and Punisher.

Note: The story has no credits (they are given some issues later).
