Frank Castle must take down a murderous cult leader…from inside prison walls!
The Punisher reads about a serial killer named Garry Saunders who after leaving a trail of murder and rape behind him was supposed to be serving on death row in a Utah prison. Instead he spent his time in solitary confinement and his lawyer gave appeals. Frank decides to help them do what they were supposed to do. After hearing that someone named Lydia was going to bust Saunders out of prison but failed when the guards found out, Frank decides to bust him out himself. When Frank shows up Saunders will think he is someone who was sent to do it. He plans on using a helicopter for the breakout and transports it to Utah in a peterbuilt truck.
After driving for a day Frank stops in Nebraska to sleep. He rents a spot and sleeps in the sleeper cab of his truck. Frank hears a noise and investigates it to find two men messing with his truck. He knocks one out and interrogates the other at gun point. The man claims that a group called the Underground Liberation Front put them up to killing him and stealing the truck but claims not to know what they want with the truck. Castle leaves and continues to Ultah. He spends the night in Ultah.
Frank parks his truck fifty miles from the prison and uses the helicopter to fly over and pick up Saunder, who thinks Laura sent him to help him. He tells Frank that he has been practicing the manifesto of the Underground Liberation Front. When they get back to the truck Saunders attacks Frank with a four by four and claims that Lydia couldn't of sent him because he didn't know the password.
Lydia then shows up. The two people that were messing with Frank's truck in Nebraska put a tracer in the back so she was able to follow him. She tells Saunders that he is not important anymore and kills him. Her and her partner then steel the truck and leave saying that they need to go free their king. The guard that Frank got the information about Saunders from shows up and caries Frank beaten body away.
