The Stubborn Sorcerer, was written and drawn by Angelo Todaro. This is the fourth comic in The Phantom's World. Angelo is an Italian artist who became a Phantom and Mandrake artist during his time working for Fratelli Spada in the mid to late 60's. This is being published for the first time by Frew which makes you a very fortunate and privileged Australian Phantom audience. There is a certain simplistic naivety about the story and his talent as an artist is beyond question! It is certainly quite different stylistically from the two part Lou Manna story, Full Circle which created such a heated response.
