From The Long Box : New Titans #61
In this issue Robin feels like Nightwing and Batman are in trouble. So Alfred suits him up as Robin and drives him to the crime scene. Yes, Alfred, who has access to the Batcave, dresses a strange 13 year old boy who he does not know if he is trained or not, and drives him to a crime scene. Doesnt call the authorities, or the Titans, JLA. Nope, get the untrained new kid in there.
That isnt even the big thing. At the same time Alfred And Tim discuss this, they are at the Mansion, at the same time Two face has Batman and Nightwing under a bunch of rubble. He contemplates killing them, does the coin flip thing, and then decides they should die. At the very last minute, Tim shows up as Robin, and stops him. So to sum up, unless the battle was going on inside the grounds of Wayne Manor, Two Face took 10 minutes, or maybe even more to decide to kill the heroes and then walk over to them. Sorry, I dont buy it.
Lets not even mention the ridiculous discussion of Tim Drake as Robin after Tim announces to Batman, I left Two face with Alfred. Wait, is he tied up, handcuffed, and how come you keep calling us Bruce and Dick when we are outside and dressed like this?
Sorry, this was not a well thought out issue. Poor ending to the story.
