Deconstructing Wonder Girl
Donna Troy isn´t the most remarkable and interesting character that DC has created: she´s Wonder Woman´s copy or younger version and that worked fine for the Titans, who had Kid Flash, Roy Harper and others that fit this profile, but making a whole arc story about her past was a bet from Wolfman and Perez, that had a good start with this issue. A mysterious figure is looking for Donna Troy so that she can prevent a great danger and in between the Titans deal with some cybernetic monsters, most likely aliens - they think they´re connected somehow. Then the mysterious lady starts to gaze Donna and establishes a psychic link, unveiling that some of what she thought it was her memories were not. The flashbacks scenes were good, the dialogues too, but the whole "what are you doing/who are you" questions all the time (like 5 pages of this) was kind of a drag for me. Overall the art again was the best thing about this issue. Recommended for Perez fans
