So I was thinking one day about the New 52 and I thought what if DC makes the New 52 their own version of a Ultimate Universe; then they go back to New Earth as the main Universe.

1 . It would work out great seeing as they would be able to kill off characters.

2. It would please alot of fans who like the New 52 but miss the Pre - 52 Universe.

3. They could keep both universe's intact they way.

4.Wally West and Donna Troy would be back ( so would Damian) and countless other characters.

So what do you guys think?

nice sentiment but not gonna happen in a million years. the dice landed a long time ago. they just live with the results now.

I think I'm one of those people who likes the New 52. And DC won't return to New Earth. It's be interesting to see, though.

@bloxxeh: Cool. I don't hate the new 52 it's just I miss New Earth and the old Tim Drake & Dick Grayson alot.

You know, the old dc universe could be the "Ultimate Universe" and the new52 could be the main universe and I wouldn't mind.

I don't really feel like going in depth about this right now so I just point out the main differences.

First starting with Tim Drake.

1. He's not really the detective he use to be. He's more of a Computer Genius/Hacker.

2. Personally I think he's alot like Dick Grayson.

3. He use to have to actually have to train and work hard to get good at things physically. Now it's he was a Olympic Gymnast before becoming Robin.

4. He doesn't really have that connection he use to with Batman.

5. He's the founder of the Teen Titans.

6.He was never Robin. He's always went by Red Robin .

7. Etc... Read the Pre-52 Robin series and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Now Dick Grayson.

1. He doesn't have any connections with any other Superheroes outside of the Bat family.

2. He was Robin for only a year.

3. The Joker hinted in the death of the family that Dick was still Batman's favorite; but five years doesn't seem like enough time to form that strong of a bond like Pre- 52 Dick and Bruce had.

4. He wasn't Adopted by Bruce or Bruce's Ward.

5. Him and Tim Drake don't have that brotherly bond anymore.

6. Dick and Babs don't seem that close anymore but I'll wait until Nightwing's upcoming annual to cast my opinion on that.

7.He's not looked up to in the Superhero community anymore.

8.He's not the founder of the Teen Titans anymore.

9. Etc. I don't want to keep going on but those are alot of my major problems.

I agree with all that. The New 52 is good but it ruined a number of characters in the progress.

@thesonofneptune101: There's too much new stuff added that Pre-52 just seems... behind if you get what I mean. Also it was Scott Lobdell that ruined most of that, not New 52.

@thesonofneptune101: Replace Scott Lobdell and retcon the heck out of it, then maybe you'll like New 52 (and I'll start reading Teen Titans for once).

@thesonofneptune101: You made some valid points. And my friends tell me all the time about stuff like this. As much as I like the New 52 TT series, I don't like TD that much. I read his New Earth Origin. I liked that.

@bloxxeh: Since the New 52 is new and all, I figured, why not have a Batman Beyond series OR have Terry travel to the past.

If DC kept the New 52 DCnU and reinstated the DCU, they'd be releasing about 100 comics a month. Not gonna happen.

@arturocalakayvee: They could always cancel some series that aren't popular and replace them with their old series from the pre-52.
