    "in comics we trust..."

Pax americana is a delightful elseworld type of story about old school dc comics characters such as; captain adam, the question(vick sage version), the blue beetle(ted kord version), peacemaker, and a few other characters that are escaping me at the moment. Certain aspects of the story are borrowed from other books(such as the watchmen), but i honestly don't fault it for the parallels that are drawn between them. As for the art aspect of my review, i have no faults or gripes with it. The book is illustrated by the ever so talented frank quitely, whose art actually brings depth and weight to the story, with each panel he ever so carefully details with his beautiful art. Over all i really enjoyed pax americana and think it is worth buying despite the parallels it draws with the watchmen.
