    The Man of Steel story arc concludes with Superman returning to visit Smallville, where the advice of his parents, transmitted knowledge from Jor-El, and revelations by childhood friend Lana Lang help crystallize Superman's purpose to himself.The gist of this story would later be chronicled better in Superman for All Seasons, but it doesn't take away too much from the charm of this issue.Alien though he may be, Superman belongs to the world....
