A Good Comic for Engligh Majors!

I thought this was stronger then the other ones personally. Loved the Tempest and Virginia Woolf references. Orlando is one of my favorite characters and glad to see him/her in the League books. Having the name Vita as a woman was just perfect. I thought this one was the strongest because Moore reference books you would have read in English classes both in high school (such as 1984 and the Great Gatsby) and ones you would read in college such as (Gulliver's Travels and the Tempest). I would say this volume is really more for people who actually read more English books that aren't in the horror or science fiction genre. Maybe the reason I like this one better.

My only issue with this volume is that it jumped around too much. It made the volume more confusing. However this had more of my favorite literary characters such as Gulliver, Prospero, and Orlando. So giving this a 5 star for the usage of the English novels, but should be 4.5 I think.

Alan walks away from DC the right way. 0

From the messy situation of the America's Best Comics (ABC) contract, Alan Moore could of walked and not even done the ABC works or he could of done what he did and show he actually has class.  The media makes him look like a jerk, but he went back on his oath to never work for DC again, to honor the commitment of his ABC agreements with the set artist in the series attached to them.  The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was the only book he still have legal right to.  Once its legal completion...
