    Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Thanos, revived by Death to balance the universal scales, has achieved absolute power. He has the Gauntlet, with the Infinity Gems. Mephisto is basking in Thanos' majesty, while The Mad Titan is pining for Death.

Thanos comes to the realization of just what it will take to win Death's affection. He does it - he really does it!

Spider-Man, Captain America, Strange and The Surfer all witness the results.
