Fall Of The Hulks is raging and the smartest dudes in the Marvel Universe are being kidnapped by the Intelligencia. We've seen that even Doctor Doom can be captured and we're left wondering what the big grand scheme is.
The Good:
Things are heating up. You can tell we're getting closer to the end and with that, some answers. There's lots of guest appearances here that are pretty cool. That enforces that what the Intelligencia are doing is a big deal. With the smartest dudes being taken, something must be done, right? Banner continues to kick butt despite being de-powered. He really is showing that he is one of the world's smartest. Greg Pak and Paul Pelletier deliver another sweet issue with their combined writing and art.
The Bad:
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to read this or Hulk #20 first. I ended up reading Hulk since the cover images on the first page showed that issue first. It turns out this takes place first as Doctor Doom had just been captured. Not a huge deal though. Some of the characters felt a little off. Hank Pym was a bit of a jerk, but then again, maybe that's just normal for Hank. When the "Avengers" arrive, the fact that they just attack first/ask questions later seemed out of line. But when Hulks are involved, perhaps there's no other choice.
The Verdict:
I have been enjoying Fall Of The Hulks. Could Banner have his own team of Avengers to take on the Intelligencia? It's almost a scary thought. There are some more clues being thrown out. We don't get all the answers but we do know they're coming. The very last line a certain character says on the very last page makes you wonder if things are not as they seem. This was a solid 4 out of 5.
