The Girl from Mars tells two stories. One is a dizzying tour of the underbelly of the post-WWII period, as told by the malevolent force who steered it! The second story, a framing sequence, features Izzy Montoya, a disaffected college student who is apparently possessed by a Martian girl who simply wants a vacation on Earth. This first volume begins both tales, covering 1945-1968.
Collects material from Martian Comics #1-4, 6-8, and 11-12, with the stories significantly edited.
