27 writers and artists come together for the first time to tell stories about Hope in the first edition of the ongoing Gathering anthology. The acclaimed first issue of the Gathering met with a near instant sell out and the book received numerous Project Fanboy nominations including Best Indie Comic, Best B&W Comic, Best New Indie Title, Best Indie Writer (Ray Goldfield, Glenn Matchett, and Evan Valentine) and Best Indie Artist (Aaron Bir, Chris Maze and Sam Tung). The issue also features art by Brent Peeples (Grimm Fairy Tales, 1001 Arabian Knights).
