    History

    The last known member of the Space Kraken comes from the planet Ankhis. He possesses the ability to manipulate the oceans of the planets and transform what their waters touch into aquatic beings. After being summoned by the Triumvirate of Sea Gods, Flood was tasked with manipulating the waters of Earth and turning most of its inhabitants into hybrid marine beings, turning them into subjects of the Triumvirate. Throughout Drowned Earth it is observed how little by little, this space kraken manages to put the heroes of the Justice League in check. But with Black Manta's betrayal and the power imbued by Poseidon upon Aquaman, the Triumvirate and Flood are defeated and return Earth to normal.
